After a year and a half in production, Crazybridge Studios is proud to announce our latest 4D ride film is now open at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City. Stories of Intrepid follows the harrowing missions of three courageous Intrepid pilots in three eras, incorporating CGI and never-before-seen historical footage from the museum’s archives, all presented in breathtaking 3D, with surround sound and motion. A full production of Crazybridge Studios, the film runs five times an hour at the newly-renovated 4D theater on the ship’s hangar deck.

From the team behind Deadliest Catch and Bering Sea Gold comes The Yard on the National Geographic Channel:

In the crowded ports of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest sit a handful of salty, machine-fueled, deadline-driven workplaces powered by a nautical breed of hard-working, fun-loving men and women. These boat-repairing operations range in size from small mom-and-pop outfits to massive enterprises blanketing entire coastlines, and they all have one goal in common: fix and build boats fast and make money doing it.
Crazybridge was brought on to create a look for the 8-episode series that reflects the gritty rough-and-tumble world of shipyards. We produced the main title, graphics package, maps, and all of the animations for the series.
Premieres April 20.

Our latest ride film Aerobatic Challenge has won a Silver Telly Award for Outstanding 3D Production.

More from the Telly Awards:

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, our highest honor.

In addition to receiving industry recognition, the attraction is a hit with audiences:

“We did the 4D Blue Angels ride which is a 3D movie of the Blue Angels flying with a motion seat and air jets. Pretty cool ride. . .”

More about Crazybridge Studios

Months in the making, the Blue Angels 4D Experience opened last Friday at the National Naval Aviation Museum.  Crazybridge produced the 3D film for the attraction, which plays in a dedicated theater complete with moving seats, booming surround sound, wind, and other immersive 4D effects.  The action-packed film is 100% CGI and follows the famed Blue Angels soaring through the air as they execute their signature precision maneuvers.  The museum is located on the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida where the show runs four times an hour.

A Pensacola TV station covered the opening.  If you can’t make it to the theater, here’s the next best thing.

The Blue Angels pilots were on hand for the grand opening.  We’re honored to have worked on such a great project, and thrilled that people are enjoying it.
